As many of you are aware by now, pirates are a big deal in the Scratches family … with Zan, in particular. So, for the second year in a row, we moseyed on up to Winter Island in Salem, Mass., for the annual Pirate Faire.
The event features a number of performances, one of which we are watching here … which seemed like a good idea until one character murdered another by slamming him in the face with a wooden bucket. Fortunately, we were seated near the area where they dragged off the “dead” character, so the kids saw him miraculously resurrected once he had been removed from the scene.
