Joy Ride

Last week, Wonder Woman took the kids to meet my mom at the Topsfield Fair, which they (and, when not buried under a mountain of work, I) go to each year. This shot of Jayna is, I think, adorable … even more so based on the fact that the boy she’s riding with is just some random kid she got paired with for the duration of the ride.

However … as cute as the picture is, I don’t want to see her sitting in a car again with a boy who she’s looking at like that for at least another 20 years.

    Steph: Yeah, at least he has the Sox thing going for him … but he’ll also have to beat me in an arm-wrestling contest before he’s allowed to come calling.

    But wouldn’t it be kind of embarrassing to get beaten in an arm-wrestling contest by a teenager?
