I had planned to take some brand-spankin’-new photos today, but instead, I shoveled us out this morning, and then, after it snowed another inch and subsequently rained for several hours, I went back outside late this afternoon and shoveled again, by which time everything was one big sloppy, heavy mess of slush and ice. As a result, I’m not motivated to get my Ansel Adams on right now.
The shot above was taken during the weekend just before Christmas, which yielded this season’s first major snowstorm. I had a better sense of humor about it then.
These two kids LOVE going out to play in the snow. (Seriously.) Now if I could just get them to stop complaining everytime I force them to shovel and de-ice the driveway …
