How Grand
Hi! I just spent two hours outside scooping and tossing 900-pound shovelfuls of slush in a downpour! How was your evening?
So, no, there wasn’t a lot of photography going down ’round these parts today … which is why I’m dipping back into the archives for another Grand Canyon shot, taken with a little point-and-shoot film camera (remember those?) during our hike back in 2000.
I wish we had our nice Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT back then, because the pictures would have been spectacular—especially if I captured them in RAW format, which Jon Armstrong tells me would have allowed me to manipulate this photo to a much greater degree and with much better results. (Thank you, Jon.)
Thus, now begins the era of Camera RAW here at DaddyScratches.com. Prepare to be wowed … or something.
