There is a price to be paid for being a father who is both a computer geek and a sucker for wanting to please his son, because when your son decides he wants not just a Mario-themed party, and not just a baseball-themed party, but a Mario baseball-themed party, you feel compelled to come through.
Wonder Woman impressed upon me that he wanted not only Mario on the cake, but Luigi, too. So I scoured the Internet and slapped these bad boys together … and even went so far as to Photoshop a baseball glove onto Luigi’s left hand, which originally sported only a white glove.
(And, yeah, I know: I’m a couple days late showing off this photo … but I had a choice of either celebrating my son’s birthday and not blogging about it till this evening, or blogging about his birthday without actually taking part in it. Tough decision, eh?)
