Remember this sunflower picture? Wonder Woman took that shot last August at Chanticleer Garden in Pennsylvania … and then I butchered it in Photoshop, because I didn’t really know what I was doing yet—the mere writing of which implies that I now do know what I’m doing, which is both questionable and relative; 10 months from now, I might look at the photo above and say, “Wow, I bitched that up quite nicely.”
Anyhoo, the flower (daisy?) above also was photographed by Wonder Woman during that same visit to Chanticleer Garden last summer, and since it’s been raining here for nine million days, I decided to find something cheery to post today. Not sure how I missed this one the first time around, because I quite like it. There even are drops of water hanging from the flower in a couple of places. God, that Wonder Woman; she knows how to shoot the plant life, don’t she?
I offered up a better sunflower picture here, and some of you liked it enough to download it and use it as your desktop wallpaper. Well, I don’t know if the photo above will move you to do the same, but since I failed to post a photo on Friday, I decided to make it up to you by offering you the above shot as a desktop wallpaper as well … and I even sized it for multiple different monitor sizes. Yes, I know: I’m the biscuits.
So, in case you’re interested, here you go:
(P.S.: If you do decide to download one, I’d be grateful if you’d let me know in the comments below … for no reason other than I’m curious to know how much interest there is.)

Thanks. Still had the sunflower up so was nice to replace with another yellow flower!
Just gorgeous. I too still had the sunflower, which I must say AGAIN that I would totally buy to hang on my kitchen wall if it were for sale. Hint, hint.
So beautiful! And you’re right – she takes gorgeous pics.
I too still had the sunflower and just replaced it. Thanks, WW and DS!
I feel the need to tell you that your watermark – first on the bottom left, this one on the bottom right – are obscured by the bottom toolbar in Windows so maybe you’d like to consider relocating it in future photos? Just want you to (visibly) have the credit you deserve.
downloaded… love it!
Nope. You’re the bee’s knees!
Snagged it – thank you kindly. Replaced a sunset shot by PW on my desktop. Don’t you feel honored?
