Yes, I know that anyone who was here last winter has surely gotten more than their fill of snow-related photos (as well as a heaping helping of me bitching about the snow), but listen: if I don’t find some kind of redeeming quality that I can attach to this god-awful white shit, I’ll lose my mind. And the only consistently redeeming quality it seems to possess is that it makes for some interesting photographs.
This is the view out my front window as seen this past Sunday morning. That lovely reddish-orangeish-pinkish part is from the rising sun … and I bet that I would have gotten some far more beautiful and colorful shots if I had taken some from a different, more sun-drenched angle … but that would have required going outside in the snow at dawn. So, you know, fuck that.
