Shhhhhhhh.

Photo of the Day for February 9, 2010

My marvelous image

Yesterday, Zan was feeling a little under the weather, and Jayna didn’t have school, and so it was that Wonder Woman planned to remain at home with both children, all day long, while I stabbed myself in the ears with a Philips-head screwdriver attempted to work amidst the chaos.

But then a light bulb went off over my head … a big, neon light bulb … a neon sign, really … yes, a neon sign … a sign that said “Dude, fuuuuuuck that! Let us flee to the library, the gloriously quiet and WiFi-enabled library, located just scant moments away!” (Granted, it was very large for an imaginary neon sign.)

This is where I sat for a number of blissfully silent hours yesterday. Next time, I’m bringing a sleeping bag and spending the night.

Hopefully, you showered before decending upon the gloriousness that is the LIBRARY!!

I adore the library – the unwashed masses that utilize it, not so much!

This looks all too familiar, as my undergrad ended less than a year ago. I should’ve brought a sleeping bag – that would’ve made spending the night much, much more comfortable.

Oh hey, I ended up here from the bloggess’ blog, because I liked Van Halen when David Lee Roth was with the band and you had a post on knowing too much about Van Halen. It was a long post but I got through it!!! Now I am tired and dizzy and decided to lurk your blog. So there you go, that is why I am here.

Ahhhhhhhhhh librairies…..how I love them. Sometimes I really think that there is no place in the world to get peace in a city, no place, not even at home, you know? Neighbors are always making noise and irritating the shit out of me, but the LIBRARY! The library will never let me down, I feel you so hard on that.
